"Be My Valentine" Smoothie
Happy Valentine's Day friends! I hope you all are celebrating love in your own special way today. For me, Valentine's Day is not so much about giving gifts, or going out for a fancy meal (although both are lovely ways to celebrate) it's about spreading and sharing love with those around you. A simple smile as you walk down the street can spread more love then we are aware of. Spending time with your children and talking about how love can change the world we live in and create lifelong friendships. Calling a grandparent who will be alone for this holiday, or a friend you know that could use a little reminder of how much you care for them. Maybe a doorstep delivery of my Banana Bread recipe to someone special to your heart. And always a yoga practice in the morning, spreading love through breath to yourself and others.

Whether you are having breakfast in bed with a loved one or by yourself, remember that it is with someone special. Keep love in your heart and happy, positive thoughts in your mind and enjoy this day without letting commercialism leek its way into your thoughts on how this day should be. We all celebrate love in our own unique ways and that in itself is something to embrace.
Tip: This smoothie tastes better if you dance around the kitchen to your favorite song while you make it!
